The life insurer has announced the new position of head of digital and member engagement.
On Thursday (20 January), Zurich Australia confirmed Ahmad Racheha for the newly created leadership position within the group insurance team, who is set to start next month.
Mr Racheha, who has over 20 years of experience in leading digital transformations and managing online channels, will join Zurich from Aware Super, where he worked as head of digital.
“Ahmad’s deep experience in using technology to engage customers will help our super fund partners to engage their own members,” Zurich Australia’s head of group insurance, Darren Wickham, said
“In a post stapling world, insurance remains one of the main reasons employees do not change fund, so ensuring that members understand and make informed choices about their insurance is more important than ever.
“Ahmad’s innovation background will take our market leading technology to the next level, and assist us in bringing Zurich’s scale and global capabilities for the benefit of our group insurance partners and their members.”
The news comes only a week after Zurich announced two appointments in its health services team – Dr William Monday as chief medical officer and Stephanie Pierce as senior marketing and communications manager – health services.
