ANZ takes new technology on roadshow

In a statement, ANZ head of life insurance Gerard Kerr said implementing new and innovative technology offers the potential to streamline portions of the OnePath range.

“Technology is such a game changer for our clients so we want to make sure we integrate it where it is of most use to them,” he said.

“They have asked for tools that give them more visibility, transparency and convenience, and our focus has been on delivering in these areas.”

ANZ used the roadshow to introduce insurance brokers to “new ways of accessing the electronic insurance applications”, which incorporates real-time underwriting.

Other features being showcased by the bank include SMS systems, improvements to mental health claim processes and online claims lodgement for terminal illnesses, TPD and income protection.
