There were 28 winners at this year’s awards, with two of them receiving the coveted Excellence Award.
The ifa Excellence Awards 2022 black-tie gala ceremony was held tonight (Wednesday, 16 November) at Montage in Sydney, where the best and brightest in the financial services industry gained national recognition for their hard work, dedication, and stellar achievements.
A total of 28 winners were chosen out of 230 finalists across 18 individual and 10 group categories this year, while the highest-scoring individual and company winners picked up the coveted ifa Excellence Award trophies.
Melbourne-based Hewison Private Wealth partner and wealth adviser Chris Morcom won the individual Excellence Award for 2022 after being named SMSF Adviser of the Year earlier in the evening.
This year’s Dealer Group of the Year award winner Lifespan Financial Planning was conferred the company Excellence Award.
Over 300 members of the financial services industry attended the gala ceremony to celebrate the successes of their peers while letting their hair down and networking with the industry.
Voice artist and professional host, Nick Bartlett, provided light and laughter as the MC for the evening, while Blu Horseshoe chief executive Antony Tolfts gave the welcome address on behalf of the platinum partner.
Ifa editor, Maja Garaca Djurdjevic, commended all of the winners and finalists for their achievements and dedication to the advice industry.
