A law firm has released a new handbook aimed at assisting advisers working in the agribusiness sector.
The newly released handbook, The Australian Agribusiness Advisers’ Guide looks at major issues facing primary producers in Australia.
Written by Cowell Clarke, director and head of its agribusiness legal practice, Peter Slegers and senior associates, Joshua Pascale and Daniel Marateo, the guide also offers practical advice for advisers understanding and acting on key issues such as strategic agribusiness acquisitions and sales, intergenerational succession planning and taxation.
“This important resource contains real case studies that bring to life the key issues primary producers are facing,” Mr Slegers said.
“For example, it contains helpful strategies for structuring succession plans so a farmer can have real peace of mind and the next generation can transition with certainty.
“Increasing regulatory complexity presents many challenges and it is critical for those involved in the agribusiness sector to be able to access practical advice,” he stated.
