The Adviser Innovation Summit has received the support of the software as a service for financial planners as a gold partner.
The 2022 summit promises to update advisers on the latest trends in fintech, innovation, and digital transformation during jam-packed sessions with prominent speakers.
Taking place on 1 and 8 June 2022, the conference will provide financial advisers, fintech consultants, executives, and business owners with information about the latest financial buzzwords and trends, including the metaverse, decentralised finance, and finfluencers, and assess their impact on advice practices and future business operations.
Asendium co-founder and chief creative officer Sharon Lee said she is delighted that the company is a gold sponsor for the Adviser Innovation Summit this year.
“The event has historically been where the industry discusses and showcases the next generation of leading-edge technology and innovation,” she said.
“Now more than ever, to thrive in financial advice, it means that the implementation of technology is not an option, it is a requirement. The conversations that will be had at this year’s event will have an impact on the direction for the industry over the next 12 months as technology becomes a staple for every financial planning business.
“We look forward to being a part of the event to demonstrate how Asendium is contributing to the advice technology landscape and what we offer to financial planners who want [to] remove the friction for advice creation. It’s time we as an industry start paving the way to a seamless advice experience for clients and financial planners alike.”
During the summit, founder of machine learning company Flamingo AI and adviser on responsible technology and the future of work, Dr Catriona Wallace will delve into how the metaverse will impact both advisers and their clients.
Channel 9 financial commentator Canna Campbell will take advisers through the world of finfluencers and how they could leverage video marketing and podcasting tools to expand reach, increase engagement, and drive sales while maximising return on investment.
Founder of Advice Revolution, Adrian Patty and Volt Bank Australia chief customer and partnerships officer Andrew Clouston will speak about how advisers could capitalise on open banking to gain access to their clients’ financial information in a cyber-safe environment and explain the applications of the new Consumer Data Rules for trusted advisers.
Meanwhile, Major General (Ret’d) Dr Marcus Thompson, Australian Defence Force former head of information warfare, will offer tips on managing the ever-growing financial risk of cyber penetration, as well as solutions that can be implemented to thwart cyber security threats.
