Kelly Partners Group will acquire a NSW accounting and financial planning business.
The ASX-listed chartered accounting network signed an agreement to acquire the $1.3 million Northern Beaches-based firm that is expected to be completed on 1 February 2022.
Following completion, the financial planning team will relocate to a new office in Mona Vale, while the accounting members of the business will move to Kelly Partners’ Northern Beaches office.
Kelly Partners founder and chief executive Brett Kelly said the acquisition will see the Northern Beaches office qualify as a top 100 accounting firm.
“We believe our Northern Beaches office, together with our Pittwater office (launched in January 2021) and our Mona Vale office (that will be launched as part of this transaction) would command a dominant and leading position in the Northern Beaches region,” Mr Kelly said.
“Out of our 17 offices, eight offices now qualify in their own right as a top 100 accounting firm. We believe that this scale in each location makes our businesses more competitive and sustainable, and more attractive to clients as well as talent.”
Kelly Partners Group has also recently signed three other acquisitions with businesses in Penrith, Canberra and Carlton.
