Mason Stevens has confirmed the appointment of a new Sydney-based sales director.
The investment manager announced Andrew Vong’s hiring on Wednesday, where he will make the move from Macquarie Group as its business development manager.
Mr Vong will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities for Mason Stevens across its asset management and platform business.
“Andrew has a deep understanding of the platform and investment management industry, and his experience will only add to the direction Mason Stevens is quickly heading, with demand ever increasing,” managing director Tim Yule said.
The appointment comes after Mason Stevens recently launched a mobile app for its clients.
“Our clients have high expectations when it comes to using mobile devices to access investments and we are constantly developing features to improve our mobile capabilities, delivering an outstanding client experience,” fellow managing director Nick Mitchell said.
“This is an exciting development for our advisers and their clients.”
