Easton Investments Limited has announced the appointment of new leadership to head up their GPS Wealth brand.
Tara Ross has been named to take the role of head of GPS Wealth, joining the firm from Wilsons Advisory, where she served as general manager for private wealth. She will take up the role from 13 September.
The firm has highlighted her capacity to build strong relationships with advisers alongside her mentoring and leadership skills as critical to the appointment.
“At Easton, we share an ambition with financial advisers and accountants to create positive industry change,” said Nathan Jacobsen, managing director for Easton.
“Our shared goal is to solidify the position of financial advice as a recognised and respected profession that delivers tangible results for its clients.
“As head of GPS, Tara will play a key role in partnering with GPS advisers to deliver on this ambition.”
GPS Wealth was rated as having the highest adviser satisfaction rating in the market and was awarded Licensee of the Year for 2020 by CoreData Research.
In their recent annual results, Easton attributed this success to its communication, education and training, and technical services offered.
Looking forward to 2022, the firm expressed confidence that Ms Ross would be well placed to add to these successful elements of their business.
“Culturally, we are deeply aligned in our beliefs on governance, the future of financial advice and the momentum required to create the right environment for advice businesses to succeed,” Mr Jacobsen said.
“We’re excited to have Tara join the team as head of GPS Wealth and partner with us on this journey.”
