PPS Mutual has announced the appointment of a new senior business development manager for Queensland.
Arthur Tang will take the role, reporting directly to Richard Hopwood, state manager for Queensland. Mr Tang will be charged with supporting both Mr Hopwood and the PPS Mutual proposition among a “select group” of financial advisers in the Queensland region.
“It’s great to welcome Arthur to the PPS Mutual team and I’m confident his considerable experience within both business and practice development roles will help us to further communicate the unique PPS Mutual proposition to financial advisers,” Mr Hopwood said. “Our goal is to continue to educate advisers on the benefits of the mutual model and provide a unique offering to professionals in the Australian market.”
Mr Tang has over 18 years experience as a financial services professional, with 11 years experience in business development roles. He was most recently the practice development manager for Financial Wisdom and CFP Pathways, where he was responsible for developing and implementing plans for practices to increase sustainability, productivity and profitability.
He has also held roles at Legacy Planning, Asteron Life and ANZ Financial Planning.
“PPS Mutual was an attractive opportunity due to its sustainable business model and member-focused attitude, which I look forward to communicating with my network,” Mr Tang said.
