Xplore Wealth appoints new head of distribution

Anne Hamieh has been appointed to the executive team at Xplore Wealth and will join newly announced chief financial officer Bruce Hawkins and chief executive officer Mike Wright in leading the company.

Ms Hamieh has over 20 years’ experience in financial services, most recently as intermediary sales manager for Vanguard Investments.

Chairman Peter Brook said that Ms Hamieh’s appointment bolsters a revitalised team and fulfilled a crucial gap.

“Anne’s appointment not only bolsters a revitalised Xplore Wealth executive team but fulfils a critical gap for Xplore Wealth in its sales and relationship efforts and promoting the company’s underlying capabilities,” he said.

Mr Brook said Ms Hamieh ticked all the boxes and was central to Xplore Wealth’s plans for the distribution and marketing function.

“This requires a deft leadership approach, strong attention to the needs of advisers and their clients, and the capacity to achieve sales results built on quality relationship,” he said.

Chief executive Mr Wright said that Ms Hamieh was a key member of Vanguard and had proven sales and leadership capabilities.

“Her deep industry knowledge and understanding adds great value to the Xplore Wealth team and to the board’s targeted programme to grow and expand the business,” he said.

Ms Hamieh said she was excited to commence the new role and to join at such a vital time for Xplore Wealth.

“I am joining during a pivotal period for the company and our discussions regarding the vision and growth ambitions for Xplore Wealth really helped to cement my decision to join,” she said.
