National consultancy group Elixir Consulting has launched a ‘virtual business coaching’ portal designed specifically for financial advisers.
In response to the increased demand from advisers applying greater focus on how they run their business, the Evolve Alliance portal combines a Business Analysis tool with access to business strategies, including templates, how-to guides, training videos, peer-to-peer discussion and live case studies.
“We've found that a lot of advisers are now acutely aware of the need to run their business like a business,” Elixir Consulting founder Sue Viskovic said.
“Certainly, with the client still at the core of all they do, but in order to have a sustainable future, they need to dedicate the time to iterate their business model.”
With added compliance and study requirements, in addition to margins being squeezed, Ms Viskovic said advisers can’t afford to waste any time they can dedicate to working on their business.
“We’ve therefore designed the Evolve Alliance as a self-directed option for advisers who can’t access our coaching support directly,” she said.
"We’ve been working on this project for some time now, and are thrilled to finally launch it to the profession. We have intentionally priced it in a way that every advice business can afford the subscription – especially if they get in on the Foundation membership offer.
“The Business Analysis alone pays for itself – and they then have access to all of the resources they need to fix the areas in their business that might need some work. It’s the next best thing to engaging a business coach directly, or joining a group coaching program."
