SMSF administration firm SuperConcepts has announced a permanent chief executive to replace Adrian Urquhart, who has been interim head since February.
Lara Bourguignon has been appointed as the permanent chief executive of SuperConcepts, effective 15 April.
Ms Bourguignon has extensive experience within the finance and superannuation sector in executive level positions, most recently directing customer experience at AMP.
She is a qualified accountant and brings more than 20 years of experience, including running end-to-end businesses.
AMP chief executive of wealth management Alex Wade said Ms Bourguignon is a “talented and capable leader with a strong customer focus”.
“I am confident SuperConcepts will thrive under her leadership,” said Mr Wade.
SuperConcepts chairman Richard Grellman thanked Mr Urquhart for providing stability and continuity while a chief executive was appointed.
Mr Urquhart was appointed as the interim chief executive following the news that Natasha Fenech would be leaving the company.
He thanked the SuperConcepts board and staff and said he looked forward to his next challenge.
“It was a privilege to have led such a great organisation for an interim period knowing they will continue a strong leadership and advocacy role for SMSF trustees,” he said.
Ms Bourguignon said she looked forward to maintaining SuperConcepts’ position in the SMSF sector.
“SuperConcepts is in a very strong position to continue driving innovations for our customers,” she said.
