A new fund from asset manager Insight Investment has been added to the Macquarie Wrap platform in response to increased adviser demand.
Insight said its Investment Inflation Plus Fund aims to deliver attractive, positive long-term returns of 5 per cent in excess of inflation over a rolling five-year period.
The fund is based on the Broad Opportunities strategy Insight has been running for more than 10 years.
Insight Investment director for Australia and New Zealand Bruce Murphy said he’s pleased with the increased interest in this strategy from Australian financial advisers and investors.
“Financial advisers now have the opportunity to access our institutional-quality capability which has been tried and tested for many years, including through periods of extreme stress such as the global financial crisis,” Mr Murphy said.
“This capability is one of Insight’s core competencies and a growing part of our business across multiple geographies.
“The team’s approach is based on three simple and effective principles: diversification, dynamic asset allocation and downside risk management.”
