ASIC has announced the appointment of new members to its Financial Services and Credit Panel, including a current and former association leader.
Following expressions of interest from the industry, ASIC has named 18 individuals to participate in the panel, which will help the regulator make decisions including over potential banning orders and cases of alleged misconduct.
Former AFA chief executive Brad Fox and Boutique Financial Planners president Dacian Moses have been named as panel members.
The other panel members are Annette Spencer, Gaye Simpson, Gayle Cilfone, Bruce Debenham, Jennifer Diggle, Calvert Duffy, Johanna Turner, Christine McArthur, Naomi Layton, Peter Wade, Don Crellin, Stephen Cavanagh, Fiona Rowland, Brian Salter and Gabrielle Bouffler.
