On a new episode of the ifa Show, host Neil Griffiths is joined by co-founder of financial planning software company, Plutosoft, Vincent Holland.
Vincent joined the podcast to discuss the importance of running an efficient and profitable financial planning business and how businesses are tracking in 2022.
“Look, rightly or wrongly that the compliance framework is what it is, others will judge whether that’s a good or bad thing. We can only deal with what’s in front of us. And it is a very compliance-driven industry,” he said.
“So that really underscores why you need to be efficient, because that red tape puts so much more time in the process. So you need to be able to automate those parts of the process which don’t add value. And really the goal is to free up the adviser’s time so that you’re spending your time on the things where you can add the most value for the client.”
On this episode, Neil and Vincent also look at what financial planning businesses are doing right, what needs to be improved, and what Vincent’s thoughts are heading into the Quality of Advice Review in December.
