Publisher and entrepreneur Greg Bright, the visionary founder of Momentum Media’s brands InvestorDaily, ifa, and Super Review, has passed away at the age of 70.
Greg Bright started his career as an economics writer for The Sydney Morning Herald, but his true legacy was cemented with the founding of Trade News Corporation.
This venture led to the creation of numerous publications, including our very own InvestorDaily, ifa, and Super Review, all of which are now part of Momentum Media.
He also founded titles such as Ethical Investor, Investment Magazine, InvestorWeekly, Investor Strategy News, Professional Planner and SMSF Magazine.
Bright was renowned not only for his sharp journalistic instinct but also for his entrepreneurial spirit, which played a pivotal role in shaping the financial services media landscape.
His ability to identify untold stories and bring them to light, combined with his drive to innovate, led to the creation of influential publications that have left a lasting impact on the industry.
Through his work, he set new standards for financial journalism, ensuring that the sector received the high-quality reporting it deserved.
As well as his journalism work, he was an executive director at PR and communication firm Shed Connect and a non-executive director at La Trobe Financial.
Bright is survived by his wife Christine, his children, and grandchildren.
