Financial planning software provider Plutosoft has completed a data feeds integration with Generation Life.
In a joint statement, the businesses said the data feed will provide advisers with a single view of their clients’ Generation Life portfolio data when they access the Plutosoft Adviser Hub portal.
The feed includes up-to-date holdings, transactions and asset allocation, which they said would allow advisers to make investment recommendations and produce advice documents, including SOAs, ROAs, and review reports.
Plutosoft co-founder Vincent Holland said: “The integration removes friction in the advice process by eliminating the need to manually enter portfolio holdings. There is growing use of investment bonds across our customer base and this is going to be a big time saver.”
Generation Life executive director and general manager Felipe Araujo said the investment bond specialist was excited about the integration, as it will “provide financial advisers with a single view and real time data feeds of their clients’ investment bond holdings”.
“As a result of the investment bond segment’s rapid growth over the last five years, it is important to arm financial advisers with accurate information to support them in creating meaningful conversations and track their clients’ portfolios holistically,” Mr Araujo said.
Earlier this year, Plutosoft released investment bond modelling to enable advisers to conduct scenario analysis on investment bond strategies.
“Our goal is to be a trusted software provider to financial advice practices, and integrations like this with Generation Life are examples of how we partner with others to build a comprehensive ecosystem,” Mr Holland said.
