Boutique advice firm Wealth Enhancers has launched a training initiative aimed at teaching advisers how to better advise Generation Y clients and scale their businesses.
Wealth Enhancers chief investment officer Finn Kelly said the training initiative, dubbed the WE Coaching Academy, is intended to “share [Wealth Enhancers’] expertise in this area with other financial advisers”.
“When Sarah [Riegelhuth] and I launched Wealth Enhancers it was because we saw an opportunity to build a business enabling our generation, Gen Y, to learn how to be financially free through a focus on life goals and values,” he said.
“As the business grew, so did our challenges, and though we have made some costly mistakes along the way, the lessons we learnt were invaluable. Now we want to share this with others to hopefully help them avoid making some of the same mistakes.”
The Coaching Academy consists of two workshops to be held in Melbourne, with the first focusing on advising Generation Y clients and the second addressing scaling of a financial advice business.
